FamaGaia Sociobioeconomy FIDC IS Management Report – Q3 2024

We are very pleased to present the second Management Report of the FamaGaia Sociobioeconomy FIDC IS Fund for the third quarter of 2024.

For the first time, the report highlights key indicators of the Fund, which now finances four projects and has begun its journey of diversification across different Brazilian biomes, as well as the development of an impact and knowledge-sharing network throughout the country.

The FIDC’s investment thesis comes to life through its current portfolio, a pipeline of over 15 projects under review, and a network that continues to grow and strengthen.

We launched this report during the COP16 on Biological Diversity in Cali, Colombia, where we were present. As we approach COP29 on Climate, which begins on November 11 in Baku, Azerbaijan, one thing becomes clear: the biodiversity and nature agendas are inextricably linked to the climate agenda.

Caring for and strengthening the biomes—and the people who inhabit them—is essential to ensuring the preservation of the ecosystem services we all depend on to exist. Directing capital toward those who foster these services is a fundamental way to give life on Earth a real chance.
