Sociobioeconomy FIDC IS
The Fama Gaia Sociobioeconomy FIDC IS Fund was created as an initiative by Grupo Gaia and fama re.capital to redefine the role of investment funds and promote positive social and environmental impacts through the financing of sociobioeconomy projects and businesses led by local and traditional communities.
Our aim is to foster sustainable economic and social development while protecting and regenerating Brazilian biomes by supporting projects and businesses that, for various reasons, do not receive adequate financial or technical backing from conventional investors.
This fund demonstrates that capital markets can — and should — offer products with financial, social, and environmental returns that truly address the challenges of building a more equitable, inclusive, and regenerative economy.
Our investment thesis is built at the intersection of three pillars

The Fund invites investors to look beyond profit, encouraging them to influence the market to make decisions not only based on risk and return, but also on the social and environmental impacts generated.

Instead of financing large companies, the Fund supports well-structured small and medium-sized projects and businesses that implement sustainable and regenerative practices, ensuring that resources are effectively directed toward initiatives that benefit the end user, promoting real and positive social and environmental impacts within communities. 3. Networked action:
To reach across Brazil and monitor the outcomes and impacts of the beneficiaries, the Fund establishes partnerships with companies and institutions that already have a local presence. Strong partnerships are essential to expanding impact and using resources effectively.
