We are very pleased to present our first Management Report for the LatAm Climate Turnaround, for the 2nd Quarter of 2024. Our fund was created with a mission: to prove that decarbonization is a good investment.<\/p>\n
During this period, we made our first investment in SLC Agr\u00edcola, one of the most prominent Brazilian companies in the production of agricultural commodities, with enormous potential to capture economic value through regenerative agriculture practices and zero deforestation.<\/p>\n
We believe that helping to promote better risk management and climate transition opportunities among major greenhouse gas emitters will result in more attractive financial returns, and this first investment reinforces our commitment to the thesis. We aim to make each investee a benchmark for its respective sector, fostering a paradigm shift capable of transforming the reality of the entire value chain.<\/p>\n
From this investment, we have intensified our focus on nature-based solutions and the valuation of natural capital as levers of value, reflecting on new potential investments directly or indirectly connected to the agribusiness sector.<\/p>\n
Together, we will explore this new frontier of investments in the true climate transformation of the real economy.<\/p>\n
