We are pleased to share the Management Report of the FamaGaia Sociobioeconomy Fund for the first quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n
In this period, we carried out two new investments, expanding our portfolio to nine funded projects. These new operations support cooperatives and small-scale farmers working in the Amazon with the agroecological production of cocoa and pineapple, both located in the state of Par\u00e1.<\/p>\n
Even in the face of a challenging macroeconomic environment, with high interest rates in Brazil and global political uncertainties, we remain committed to providing fair credit to those who protect Brazil\u2019s biomes. Our financing model has proven to be a solid, innovative, and socially just alternative to the limitations of traditional solutions to climate challenges.<\/p>\n
Throughout the quarter, we strengthened our project pipeline through strategic partnerships with organizations working directly with grassroots socio-environmental initiatives. We closed the period with 14 active projects under review, reflecting a credit demand equivalent to the total amount financed since the fund\u2019s launch.<\/p>\n
In this report, we present the key impact and financial performance indicators, detail the new investments, and highlight the main events that shaped the sociobioeconomy in the early months of the year.<\/p>\n
