Where is Brazil\u2019s financial sector in the climate crisis conversation?<\/h1>\n

Science has made it clear: taking more ambitious action to tackle climate change is not an option \u2014 it's a necessity.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s exactly what the Paris Agreement demands from its member countries. As the host of the next COP, Brazil must present a more ambitious climate target (the well-known NDC) by February 2025 \u2014 and the financial market can play a key role. Investing in greater ambition for Brazil\u2019s decarbonization is one of the smartest investment decisions out there.<\/p>\n

This is the call to action made by Fama re.capital, represented by its partners Caroline Dihl Prolo, Fabio Alperowitch, CFA, and Tiago Gomes, in this opinion piece for O Globo.<\/p>\n
